Terms & Conditions (EULA)

Agreement & License Grant

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”) and SnapID (“Company”) governing your use of the SnapID mobile and web application (“Service”).

By downloading, installing, or using SnapID, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

SnapID grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SnapID strictly for generating personal identification photographs in accordance with these Terms.

User Responsibilities & Prohibited Conduct

By using SnapID, you represent and warrant that:

  • Any photograph you upload depicts yourself or a person for whom you have explicit legal authority to act.
  • You will not use SnapID or any generated output for fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful purposes.
  • You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models or algorithms.
  • You will not upload content that is obscene, illegal, or infringes third-party rights.
  • You will not circumvent usage limits, credits systems, or account restrictions.

Violation of these responsibilities may result in immediate account suspension and, where appropriate, referral to relevant authorities.

Official Document Disclaimer

SnapID uses AI to help produce photographs that align with common official ID standards, including passport and visa requirements. However:

  • Requirements vary by country, issuing authority, and document type and may change without notice.
  • SnapID does not guarantee acceptance of any generated photograph by any government body, embassy, or official authority.
  • It is your sole responsibility to verify that any printed or submitted photograph meets the specific requirements of the relevant authority.
We strongly recommend cross-checking generated photos against the official specification of the document you are applying for before submission.

Credits, Billing & Refunds

Credits are digital consumables that grant access to AI photo generation. The following terms apply:

    • Credits are deducted at the time a generation is initiated and confirmed.
    • Credits are non-refundable once consumed, as the computational service has been rendered.
    • If a generation fails due to a verified technical error on our part, credits will be restored to your account.
    • Credits have no monetary value, are non-transferable, and expire upon account closure.
    • All purchases are processed via Google Play Billing or Stripe and are subject to their respective terms.

Intellectual Property

All software, AI models, UI designs, and branding associated with SnapID remain the exclusive intellectual property of SnapID . Your license to use the Service does not convey any ownership rights.

You retain ownership of the original photographs you upload. By uploading, you grant SnapID a limited, non-exclusive license to process your images solely for the purpose of delivering the requested Service.

Limitation of Liability

SnapID is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

    • SnapID is not liable for rejection of any official document application arising from the use of a generated photograph.
    • Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for credits in the 90 days preceding the claim.
    • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.

Termination

SnapID reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at its sole discretion if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Service. Upon termination, your license to use SnapID ceases immediately and any remaining credits are forfeited.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SnapID is incorporated. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
